Simply Be

Part of our frustration with life is that we spend so much time and energy being who we are expected to be that we’ve lost sight of and have given up on being who we want to be. This frustration is the war between who you are (soul) and who you’re trying to be (personality). The latter wavers constantly asking ‘to be or not to be’ while the former gently advises ‘to thine own self be true’.

Don’t be afraid to listen to your soul.  The soul is the master of the personality (not the other way around).  It is the very essence of who you are.  Fall back…trusting that you will fall upon the sturdy yet gentle cloud of peace that passes all understanding.  It is here in this peaceful silence that’s far beyond all personality and expectation that you will see that you are free to simply be who you choose to be.

I completely agree… I didn’t put it in the same terms as you, but I strongly agree.
