Kindness Or Weakness?

People will often mistake your kindness for weakness, but to respond in anger is to make the mistake of allowing people to weaken your kindness.

When you recognize that you are being taken advantage of, it can be tempting to prove how strong you can be by lashing out or retaliating. Don’t. It’s a test of your humility. Let it pass. Maintain your compassion and respect for others and your resolve to do right by others will be strengthened. That’s not to say that you should lay down and be a doormat, but at the same time, take care that you don’t walk over anyone else as you take your stand.

Peace.
