Spirituality – Achieving the State of Oneness – It’s Not What You Think!
Many spiritualists agree that achieving what is called “Universal Oneness” is the pinnacle experience of transcendence, enlightenment , the union with God Force and rest of Human Consciousness. Unfortunately, there is a wrinkle in what the achievement of this exalted state entails. Let me explain.
Many approaches to achieving Oneness have been proposed i.e. through meditation, out of body experiences, near death experiences, religious experiences, various energetic approaches, shedding the ego, mantras and so on. All of these approaches share one common element which in my view and experience has proved to be a significant limiting factor. What is that you ask?
Well all believe and accept that the physical body must be transcended for this process to occur. Transcended by effectively “jettisoning” it i.e. getting rid of it so that one can supposedly reconnect and re-experience that transcendent consciousness. Often this jettisoning becomes all about justifying the need and importance of death and dying as a door to this enlightenment.
I have very contrary views I wish to convey on this matter in a manner that will allow you to know for yourself the truth about what is to be said.
Allow yourself to reconnect with the memory of a negative experience for a moment and as you do notice how that memory makes you feel. Notice in particular what it does to your energy level.
If you’re sufficiently discerning you’ll notice that your energy is being depleted, drained or zapped by that memory as it lives within you, which it does at every moment.
The energy that is being depleted is your Life Force Energy, which some refer to as Spirit.
Now that Life Force Energy is being depleted from your “physical body”! Correct?
Does that experience “feel” desirable to you? Hardly!
What does it mean when a person’s Life Force Energy is being depleted from their body? Well it means they are dying!
In other words that negative memory is killing you! How are you feeling now?
Well probably frustrated because you also believe that the past cannot be changed and that effectively means that memory will continue remain within you all the while continuing to drain your life energy.
Now suppose that you could imagine a way to release that entire memory from within you in such a way that it was no longer there and you were left with the feeling that it actually never took place.
How do you think you would feel at such a prospect? Well likely free, relieved, energized, and alive to name a few.
What does it mean to feel all of these? Well it means that you have reclaimed some of your Life Force Energy back into your physical body. Does that feel desirable to you! Most likely!
Now notice whether these words resonate with this experience: feeling whole, complete and at “one”?
If you can recognize any of this you will readily see that achieving the state of “oneness” is actually about “re-integrating” one’s Life Force Energy “with” one’s physical body and not the reverse as was suggested above.
If you can see this then I ask that you take a moment and simply affirm this new insight as your truth to yourself and then notice what that does to how you feel. If anything it will only heighten or enhance it.
